Abyaneh is a village in the central part of Natanz city, one of the cities of Isfahan province. This village is located on the slopes of the Karaks mountains. Abyaneh is located at an altitude of 2,222 meters above sea level.
The nature of Abyaneh village is very pleasant and temperate. Local people also call it Viona. It is said that Abyaneh is one of the highest residential areas in Iran. This fire temple is a relic of the Sasanian period in this village. In addition to the famous fire temple, there are three spectacular castles in this village. These castles are to keep the village safe from thieves and these castles are called Hurdeh, Yusmon and Paleh. Abyaneh shrines are also very interesting. There are two holy places in Abyaneh; Imamzadeh Yahya and Imamzadeh Isa, who are sons of Imam Musa Kazem. Abyaneh has several mosques, of which Jama Mosque is the most famous.
