Ameri house is the largest historical house in Iran.It can be said that one of the reasons why tourists travel to this city is the Ameri house, whose architecture displays authentic Iranian architecture.Today, this place has become a beautiful and luxurious hotel.As its name suggests, this house belongs to the Ameri family.The history of the Ameri palace dates back to the Zandiye period.But since this building was built before the earthquake of 1192, parts of it were destroyed after the earthquake, that is why it was rebuilt and expanded during the Qajar era, and more parts were added to it.
During the Zandiya era, the main owner of the Ameri house was Ibrahim Khan Kalantar.A long time later, when the city of Kashan was besieged by Agha Muhammad Khan Qajar, Saham al-Sultaneh, who had an Arab origin, came to the aid of the ruler of Kashan and protected the city against the attack of Agha Muhammad Khan.For this reason, the ruler of Kashan gave him this house in gratitude for Saham al-Sultaneh.
After the death of Saham al-Sultaneh, the mansions and the main courtyards of the house were inherited by his eldest son Ibrahim Khalil Khan Ameri and the rest of the house was inherited by other family members. After that, this house is known as Ameri house.

One of the main features of this house is the size of its spaces and decorations.
Regarding the architecture of this house ، it should be said that the Iranian architecture has been used, both the exterior and interior parts are decorated with very beautiful stucco and detailed inlays and other Iranian decorations.This house has several courtyards, in all of which the principle of symmetry is observed, and the wind deflector used in it is the tallest among the other houses in Kashan.
