Historical bazaar of Kashan

One of the wonderful attractions in Kashan is the traditional bazaar. The first part of this bazaar dates back to the Ilkhanid period, then to the Seljuk era, and reached the peak of its art in the Safavid period.The bazaar was destroyed in two famous Kashan earthquakes in 1604 and 1814. In the second earthquake, the bazaar was completely destroyed and a new bazaar was built on the ruins of the old bazaar.The traditional market of Kashan and the many historical monuments that it contains is one of the most unique historical monuments of Kashan. There are more than forty historical monuments in this market, such as Timche Sera, Caravanserai, Barandaz, cistern,shrine, bath, mosque, mill, etc.
