The Seljuk wall of Kashan is located at the end of Alavi street and near other monuments such as Borujerdi and Tabatabai houses and the tomb of Sultan Amir Ahmad (AS). On the sides of the street, two tall thatched walls can be seen, which are the remains of the famous fence of the Seljuk era. This impregnable fortress of that era was built in the middle of the 5th century Hijri by the efforts of one of the famous and generous men in the Seljuk government, named Khwaja Majiduddin Abulqasem Kashani. Authentic historical documents show that this high, strong fortress has saved the people of Kashan many times from the harsh attacks of the invading armies and from brutal massacres and general looting.
