Steve Kashan House is the name of a cultural complex in the heart of the historical city of Kashan and attached to the oldest building of the city, Jameh Mosque of Kashan.A pit house in the garden, measuring about 200 meters, on two floors, dating back to the Qajar period, which after restoration has become a permanent museum of the photographs of Steve McCurry, a famous American photographer, the creator of the famous portrait of the Afghan girl “Sherbat Gul”.
In the design and definition of the new use of this beautiful house, in addition to 4 rooms and a Hozekhane dedicated to displaying photos, a media room and a library are also considered.In this collection, which was opened in June 2018, 240 pieces of photos from 5 continents of the world are displayed in 4 different sizes, and all the photos were printed and displayed abroad with excellent quality.This building was built by the efforts of Hossein Farmani, a prominent Iranian gallerist and collector, with the cooperation of Hassan Roshan Bakht and Hossein Roshan Bakht.
